I like to think that Evil Pink Machine’s releases have some sort of consistency; a concept, a sound or a common process. Evil Pink Machine EP was born from the struggle of having to make music with a shattered elbow, using my laptop, a microphone and a tape machine. Inner, Brighter evolved into more organic sounds as I was finally able to play instruments. FUCHSIA was the over-the-top 80s stravanganza and I’m currently working on Lo-Fi/Sci-Fi, a concept album/space rock opera, which will be followed by a purely punk inspired affair.

There are so many tracks that I’ve recorded over the past decade, even before Evil Pink Machine was a thing, that didn’t fit any of those releases but I still considered good enough to be shared someday, so I’ve decided to finally release a selection of them as a mixtape, where the only common denominator is that there is no common denominator. Concept: no concept. It’s messy, mismatched and it makes no sense but I promise you it will be interesting.

It’s been a huge sifting process (due credit to Ibone for her very valuable set of ears) but we managed to get it down to around 20 songs, which I will be sharing in the coming days along with some stories about how they came to be.
